UPDATE: 03/03/14

Got my car back from the shop today. Due to it being so cold and snowy here in northeastern pa , I had no choice but to pay a local shop to do the 60k maintenance on my car.. I absolute hate paying someone to do basic things like that but I have no option...

Well when it rains it pours.. Got the car back and its very loud now... I'm thinking there is a exhaust leak(bad gasket) and a vacuum leak. Two things I have to address next week when I head up to STM to install my parts and a tune...

Parts purchased and installed

Oem Timing Belt
Oem Balance Shaft Belt
Oem Water Pump
Oem Serpt Tensioner
Complete timing pulleys and tensioner
A/c Compressor Delete.

Hang in there man, we've all been there. Car looked pretty clean when you got it and from the looks of it you are only going to improve it.

LY was one of my top choices when I was looking for an evo again, I could not resist the WW though. If I get to be able to get another one it will be BBY or LY!

Update: 04/06/14

Went up to Stm yesterday to finally get my parts installed. We did not weigh the car this time but I am thinking next trip up I will do so. This car has turned out to be a disappointment with all the issues I have found. I will not give up on though till I reach perfection.

Issues that need to be addressed next:

I have one bad injector now so I will baby the car till I get back from vacation

Front shocks are blown so D2's will be installed next

Factory evo 8 turbo is blown so evo 9 turbo maybe in the works

Found a lot of rust on the rad support, along with I have hit a deer recently . I am thinking full paint job, rad support, evo 9 front bumper, jdm evo 9 rear and cf trunk soon...

Ditching the stock ecu and maf

Don't mind the red hose Cory only had this laying around the shop so we needed something to recirculate the system.. Ditching it soon

Parts installed:

Stm 4' FMIC
Stm 3' Upper IC Pipe Kit
Buschur Mini Battery Tray
Odyssey Battery
Tial QR BOV
STM Lower Ic Pipe

All no paint job, think you should go for how many different shades of yellow you can have on one car lol

Sometimes Cherry Hill Mitsubishi (NJ) carries the JDM rear bumper, and front and rear lights in stock. Try them, if you haven't already. I bought my lights from them, and they gave me a good price.

Seems like its always crunch time, doesn't it? No matter what we're doing. If you really get jammed up with out a rear bumper, I have a perfect USDM, 2004 LY rear bumper that I took off of mine. No scratches, no nothing. Paint's perfect. You can have it if you need it. Send me a PM.
