Pics of my 6 TmeRS and 5 Rs
Better than new, for sure.
However, this perfection virtually prevents you from using the car: as soon as it moves it will deteriorate form the present literally perfect condition by soiling itself from road-grim. And aggressive use will result in some rock chips, more dirt, and general soiling.
Will you drive it like you stole it, as its meant to be driven?
I remember mine when new, it was soooo clean. It pained me to see dirt on it, than I had to grow "thick skin" to survive few rock chips and minor blemishes, while washing it often keeps it reasonably clean in California dry climate.
I've never witnessed such incredible devotion to Lancer Evo.
Its huge effort, and I really appreciate the skill level- not trivial to refurbish and make perfect anything let alone whole low production car.

Did you update synchros/gears to Evo 9 latest and greatest, or kept/replaced original?
The gearbox on later models is much improved in terms of shift precision, durability, synchronization.
