Who/Where can I get my headlights blacked out?
OK Im down! Now lets get organized and get a bio on those doing this to see if they 1.do good work 2. can be trusted with thousands of dollars of headlights 3. willing to summarize what materials they use 4. would be willing to keep the front amber strip. 5. what kinda payment stucture? $50 bucks seems kinda low for the pain they are
I really digging those red tails but are they just sprayed? anychance of yellowing? blotting?

ok....just a fyi onetOn and everyone else who hasn't done this at least a few times to understand how difficult it is....these lights aren't like everyone elses and aren't that easy to do. They have two piece internal lenses (the area that gets blacked out) and that WILL be broken if opened the wrong way, secondly, there are motors , hid units and hid bulbs that must be removed and re installed properly (the hid bulb can't be touched or it will be ruined INSTANTLY) not to mention the huge liability involved if one is ruined.

personally i think you are nuts to do it for $50 ....if you haven't done the evo headlights in particular (and seeing as you don't have a evo not sure if you have done them) you will see what i mean
Yes, good info dave. Definitely not for beginners.
I'm interested in seeing your work on the evo lights, onet0n. I would honestly only trust someone who's done ours many times.

I've done mine, my tails, and two other sets of EVO headlights. I did them for $100 a set which is what I would normally do them for but I ended up only charging $75 because they are people I know well. I did leave the amber part in. I think $100 is a good price considering the low amount of money it takes to do this. Unless the headlights must be shipped. That would change the price.
