Apex Silver 8.5 MR *New Shoes*

Picked up some Volk RE30's and had them wrapped in a set of Bridgestone RE760 Sports. Im rolling on stock Bilsteins with H&R Springs. Fronts required a 5mm spacer to clear the stock Brembos and I had to roll the rear fenders.

Wheels/Tires:
Volk RE30 18x9.5 +22
Bridgestone RE760 255/35/18

Evo 8 with 9 Seats, Front Bumper, Lip and ECU/Harness/Engine.

Guess it's much closer to a IX than an 8 now so would 8.75 be a more proper designation??

Was the car in an accident? Or why the swap of so many parts? Car looks very clean BTW

looks good, have you considered going the coilover route? looks a little high in the front, but I know the MR Bilsteins handle great

Never in an accident.

The 2005 EVO MR was a rare car... not many were imported here so that appealed to me... few months later the IX was released and i envied that model but at the same time did not want to trade my Evo in for one.

I eventually blew up my original VIII motor and rebuilt it.... That build motor eventually blew up at the track and i opted to swap in a IX Engine. I did the swap and never look back.

Had a buddy that was involved in a bad rear end accident and i simply bought his interior and front bumper/lip. The rest is history.

The IX to me just looks so much better than the VIII.

I love the Evo 9 front bumpers. I would love to own a red 9 RS to go with my white 8 RS.
