I believe you are misinformed... I think what newevo8 is talking about are jdm headlights, but not the MR ones... Those are the only ones I have seen on here... As far as the price, they might be $399 each headlight... That get's it in the right ballpark... I've been looking for these on the forums for months and haven't found them...

the headlights would 'dip' the wrong way.. guess no one cares you'd be blinding oncoming traffic? You'd have to swap out all the reflectors (maybe hibeams only?) as well as the projectors.. $900. for black instead of chrome? Damn, I'm married. There's no way my wife would think that's a good way to spend $900 and a lot of time. Then again, I dont think so either. But hey if you got the money to spend and the time to burn..

Yeah they are the jdm headlights from prostreetonline.com

they are 399 each.

So what is the difference between the jdm and mr????

they look the same to me. Why not go with the jdm since it is a direct fit, no screwing around??????

anyway you can find the post In the evo group buy classifieds. I did a bump to put it up front.

the only difference is the black color instead of the chrome. And from what I understand about JDM vs. US spec as well as from readong posts.. it's not really a direct fit. well it can be, but then your headlights are dipped the wrong way (repeat). They drive on the left in Japan. Makes a big diff in the way the headlights are dipped. also, our foglights use H11 bulbs, and I believe JDM doesnt (H1?).

the JDM ones are the same, they just have the chrome inside like the us headlights... These are black inside... They are not direct fit; either; from what I have heard... That's why I started this post... I know the Jdm ones come in a few different types, that is why I was unsure about these...

easy install. Just have to take front bumper off. Thats a waste of money btw. Take ur stock headlights, pop them open, take out the orange reflector, put a transparent amber decal where the blinker section is and you just saved 900 dollars.

painting headlights black is easy, i just finished doing mine. I didnt want the MR look so i left that part the way it is. BTW the "dipping" of the headlights can be adjusted within 5 seconds with a phillips screwdriver.

a big problem with the RHD headlights is that the beam pattern is wrong for driving on the right side of the road. If you look at how your car is set up now, the right light aims higher than the left, which is fine since no one is approaching you from that side and it lights up signs better, etc. Installing RHD headlights will blind oncoming traffic and not work as well for seeing on our streets. Definitely think about painting your lights if you want the look.

So start driving on the left hand side of the road, problem solved.. It may create other interesting situations though...
