i know how everybody feels. i feel the same way too. ITS RICE. but somehow, its not really that bad. but, that crap is gonna break the EVO's reputation.

 

I don't like it one bit, the evo turned into a civic. Yuck, terrible that this came from kaminari.

What if KAMINARI pay you $1000 to put this bodykits on

 

I like the Back bumper and the side skirts sure beat the hell out of the C-west ones I have on my car (too bad they wouldn't match for sheet). But for the most part I agree with the masses here. It looks a lot like a civic with an SRT-4 wing on it.

Maybe I am just going out on a limb here but I like the parts on my car to be functional. Canards in the front or anything that helps maintain front end traction. The wing on the back designed in a wind tunnel with a downforce in mind. Rear bumpers with air flow holes in them so that the air from under the car doesn't build up and cause excessive drag force. and side skirts that weigh very little and help blend the front bumper into back seamlessly and make it all visually appealing. The Hood should be light and allow for maximum engine cooling. anyway... I am just ranting here.

I am sure that everyone has their own opinion, some like showy and what I would consider gaudy. Others think that my style is too spartan and bleak. (I prefer function over form myself)

One Word URETHANE!!! Finally a front end for this car with some durability in mind.

I would tell them to take that $1000 and shove it where the sun don't shine. Someone should email this thread to kaminari so that they stop making this kit.

 

Rebelzx, I couldn't agree more. Kaminari actually holds a high place in my mind when it comes to body kit design, I mean look at what they did to the celica, it's absolute genuis. But now they spit this out for our beloved evo. Hell no, somebody stop kaminari before the embarass themselves even more.

 

I just hope I don't see anyone in person driving their Evo with this bodykit. Or I'll just the hell at you.

 

I think the way they put the kit on the car + the color + the side things makes it look rice... I thinkt he kit would look better on a plain black, no front grills(front grils like that are nasty), and stock evo wing =)

 

Maybe if the mesh wasn't painted white, but black instead.
