Why would you come on an Evo forum and post a video of you cleaning a BMW? How is that interesting or contributing in the least bit to the Evo community?

Wow, that car was in bad shape. How long did it take to detail it and how much did you charge the owner?

Hey Wazzelby: Do you know of any good detailers out here in Colorado?

Did you watch the video? Its a 30 min video showing in detail the various steps i take to clean different parts of the car. Maybe you could benefit from that, and as i mentioned since i worked on evos before if you like the video i can post something similar but on a evo.

Car was definitely in bad shape. Took me much longer to detail then i wanted only because of the camera work. Usually ill get this kind of work done in 2 days. Prices are on website.

Yeah....No, I definitely didn't watch a 30 minute video of someone washing a car. As helpful as it may be, it still doesn't really seem like the right choice for a 1st post. Comes across like you are trying to advertise yourself (which we don't allow).

Why would you contribute to this thread with unwelcome negativity? Who nominated you to voice everyone's opinion for them? If you do not find it interesting, don't read it. Simple as that. Detailing is detailing, make of a vehicle does not matter. Maybe this guy was just proud of the work he did and wanted to show everyone. I did not find it any more helpful than you did, I just don't let it bother me. Maybe you are just having a bad day and need a hug....

I'm not trying to be anyone's voice, I'm pointing out the rules of the forum.. He's obviously advertising his "work", which is against the forum rules. If he wants to advertise then he needs to go through the proper channels.
I come to this forum to read relevant information about the car we all own and love, not for random posts from people that don't even own an Evo. This has absolutely zero relevance to Evo's, more specifically to Evo IX's.
In my eyes, this is no different than those people who make accounts trying to sell their cheap sunglasses.. There are plenty of "Detailing" forums where this would be more relevant.

There are rules of what can be posted in certain sections of the forum so there is order. Without them, you and I would have to wade through thousands of posts just to get to the information we needed. This is a Evo Show and Shine section not a Cars in General section.
