Home Depot bumper shutters

Finished up a set of bumper shutters for my car about a month ago and thought I'd share. Long story short I'm cheap and didn't absolutely love the look of the other shutters out there (no disrespect!) so I made a set my self! Cut the shapes out of thin sheet metal after making templets with cardboard using a small Dremel, then wrapping in carbon fiber vinyl. Hope you guys like them
Cheers

Sorry the crappy pics!

Topspeed....1/2 miles races. So events such as WannaGoFast, 1/2 or 1 mile Sector Racing.

Like he said! Basically makes the car a little more stable at higher speeds. The bumper was pretty rough when I bought it so this covered up a bunch of imperfections as well

I think it looks pretty good. Could benefit from making them lighter using aluminum or fiberglass.

Nice work! I was actually thinking up a similar design to follow the body lines on the bumper.

The car is only going to be pushed hard for seconds during 1/2 mile runs, and top speed runs so oil cooling and brake cooling isn't necessary.

This beats paying $300 for brand name shutters thats for sure!

Is it worth doing this on a lightly modified Evo (350whp) for quarter mile times?
