Evo X seats finally into my VIII

So this has been my latest project, got these locally and have wanted the X seats in my evo soo badly, as a daily they feel more supportive and more comfortable although this could be because they are a newer generation of Recaro seats, when I undertook this endeavor I was told that the brackets would unbolt from the evo 8 seats and bolt into the X sliders which was FALSE! the passenger side of the X seats has bolts that ate attached to electrical conductors that can be used but will raise the passenger seat height till it is about 2-3in from brushing the ceiling. (for reference my 6ft 2in friend with his hair spiked has it rub the roof). However the driver side uses presses that mount the brackets. These took me approximately 3 afternoons using a cutting wheel on a grinder, a drill with a titanium drill bit to cut through steel and a lot of measuring. I will do a more detailed write up soon but I couldn't be happier with the results, the brackets will be welded to the rails this week since as of now they are bolted and still solid. As you can see the fitment is perfect the center console has clearance on both sides.

Cheers
Colton

I was wondering what it would take to do this. It looks great. Now maybe some saddle soap.
