That's awesome man, how hard is it to get a driver's license over there? Say if one were wanting to visit Japan and wants to drive around. Also how hard is the transition from LHD to RHD?

What part of Japan did you live mate? Stayed there too for almost 4 years. Authentic GTR BNR32s didn't go as low as 4k even back in '08. GTRs are known to be expensive Japanese sportscars for their age. And its records in motosports isn't helping, its value is now higher than ever. It's either the R32 you are talking about is a wrecked GTR or a lower variant like skyline Gts etc.

What RB are we talking about? Facts will tell RBs are known to be strong engines. And the RB26 is the strongest of the bunch. 400hp is not a problem on the RB26 , you can even ask any Japanese tuner about it too! Ever wondered why skyline GT-Rs are tuner house favorites in the land of the rising sun?
One major blunder among those living outside Japan is the 1990 RB26 they're getting is tired, abused, and has problems already that some importers didn't declare. Then new owners treat them as some kind of new engine and rev it to death. You know what happens next. It doesn't matter what great engine you have, if it's treated the same way, it'll have the same outcome.
I have experience on both 4G63T and RB26DETT, lucky enough to own a CT9A 7 / 9, and a GTR BNR32. Both great cars that handles well. Evo well suited for B roads, GTR A roads. Evo's power (like the SR20s) will be felt low to mid, while the GTR mid to high and is high revving. And BTW, the RB26 is probably the best sounding inline 6 engine ever. It has this deep sexy unique note. If you drive it you won't be needing any music anymore to have music on your ears.

Perfect set. Love the Skyline. Being from Japan I have a quick question... I've heard that the Japanese gov't requires a swap on engines due to emissions at 60k on every engine. Is that correct? Do you know where you can find one? I know I may be off thread, but I don't have any friends across that side of the pond.
