zertohundred.com timetoattack round 2 2015 4.10.2015 coverage
Hi peeps, me and my buddy decided to start a blog that cover malaysia car scene
On last weekend, malaysia biggest forum for car modding scene, zerotohundred.com organized 2nd round of TTA(timetoattack) which is the premier time attack event from this region
Classing wise it's like that:
Street class: Street registered car, roll bar ok, 140 threadwear or above street tyre(Think AD08R,ZII* etc)
Super Street class: Street registered car, bolt in roll cage ok, 60 threadwear or above semi slick(Think A050,Z221 etc)
TAM(Time Attack Machine): Non street registered car, no restriction generally, 60 threadwear or above semi slick(Think A050,Z221 etc)
In US term, street class would be equivalent to street class, super street class would slot in between street and limited class while TAM will be unlimited class but the level of car development is quite some way behind US car development
EVO entry would be:
Street AWD Turbo
Super Street AWD Turbo
TAM >2200CC
EVO did pretty well with EVO X holding Street AWD Turbo record and CT9A hold TAM >2200CC record which is event overall record
Enough of talking, let's go into picture
Street Turbo AWD class top 3
Eldred Goh of 833 Motorsports from Singapore got #1 with time of 2:32.007
Eric Chua of Ptune from Singapore got #1 with time of 2:33.712.
Third place goes to our buddy, Akzal Benyamin who is sponsored by GP Sports Malaysia and he get third place with time of 2:36.213 despite turbo failure. This is a malaysian entry BTW.

My close buddy, Filbert Tan of RZER from Singapore won Super Street Turbo AWD class with time of 2:24.753. It become a common occurrence for him to win this class It is a well build EVO with stroker, Full-Race twin scroll GTX3076R, Albins dog box with SSS sequential shifter, 10.5" AME TM02 or RPF1 with 265/35/18 or 295/30/18 Advan A050 medium compound. Full feature coming soon
2nd place goes to William Ho of proArt motorsports/Wing Hin Motorsports and their Volkswagen Golf R mK6 with time of 2:24.914. Their tye of choice is Hankook Z221. They are the only time attack team run with corporate budget locally(Wing Hin is a dealership chain which carry Toyota, Lexus and Volkswagen)
