Lowering is the first thing everyone seems to suggest for a car with new wheels. Personally if you do not want to lower your car don't. It does not look that bad, I am not planning on lowering mine either. Around here with snow, dips, and driveways I already scrape my front bumper, so it would only be worse if I lowered. Those wheels look good on the Evo.

 

I think the stock wheels looke better.
