18" rims or Engine Mods?

If currently have tubroback exaust,KN drop in, MBC with DYNOFLASH. I have two choices to PIMP my ride with 18"Rims and springs or make my car 11 second car instead with Cams, Cam gears, intercooler, injectors and larger turbo.

If you had to choose what would it be?

I'd pimp it. Too many stock looking evos out there.

Would you rather LOOK fast or BE fast?

I choose the later.

the car is already amazingly fast compared to the other cars on the road....yet almost all Evos look the same...i'd say wheels/springs, but than you gotta decide on the wheels and thats a P.I.T.A. so i'd say make it faster

Screw looks. Its all about speed. If you wanted a car for looks you should have bought a g35 coupe.

I'm in the make it faster crowd but, more in the handling department. Coilovers and a swaybar would be my choice.

Neither. Instead of just going for pimp ... go for real handling. You've already got the basic performance upgrades, so I'd look at getting a REAL suspension put on it - something like the custom built and tuned coil overs from Road Race Engineering. with or w/out new rims that'll definitely add a new level of performance to your Evo. Unless of course your only intent is to drag race the car ... in which case the answer is obvious, no?

Thumbs up

Stock rims are nice, go for engine upgrade and drop a little bit the car
