First Mod -- Radio (Q about relo and gauges)

Well I got the wiring adapter kit from Crutchfield for my Sony Xplod MiniDisc player. Really easy solder, snap, and go. Took about 10 minutes to install the stereo.

I am really wanting a relo kit now, though. The factory slots are angled up and away from the driver, and that makes it difficult to see with any glare (sorta how calculators and laptop displays are tough to see from an angle).

I had some questions about the relo. I searched and it seems the best one is the Mitsu CD changer mod. Okay, fair enough. Does this just replace the "spare change slot" or the whole lower unit? I read things about multiple colors and such. Is there any one that matches the EVO interior best?

Finally, I have three 52mm VDO gauges (EGT, oil pressure, and boost) and was wondering what the best "blanks" are for gauges in the factory radio slot? I like the replacement facias, they look really great, but I'm not sure I can plunk down $150+ for one. If I did, I'd want one that angled towards the driver a bit.

Any advice on this?

Thanks,
ac

Various DIN panels...

I'd check out 42 Draft Designs . They have a slick aluminum panel

Here's what would replace the lower cubby. I think it includes mounting hardware.
