Thanks evo81. It's kind of what I figured after looking at the existing wiring. But still ... that's whacked ... dang. Oh well, I've managed to install the crossover that came with the Infinity CS into the door and I chose to mount the tweeter on the door as well (next to mirror) instead of trying to use the stock tweeter location.

Does anyone know if both components are driven off the same wire? I.e. one pair coming off the amp, which is then split into 2 pairs before it reaches the separate woofer/tweeter.

Err, sorry if I wasn't clear about this, I was referring to the stock setup (which has no crossovers). Is the stock setup fed by a single pair and then split into two pairs?

Finally finished the install this morning .. .what a PITA ... even after having finally settled on how I was going to install the Infinitys, it still took me 2.5 hours to do the passenger side.
Now on to installing the new Alpine..
