Zaino is a great system, but I still prefer P21S because of the cost factor. At $12 a can, it's cheap, easy to use, lasts long, and gives an unbelievable shine.

My dad bought some Meguires car wax for his car, is it any good? I was thinking about "borrowing" it

I've used countless brands of car waxes and polishes... including P21s.

I use nothing but Zaino now.

I've used Zaino and Meguiar's, after starting off with the ladder. Zaino does outlast Meguair's, but visibility-speaking, they both look the same. When I say outlast, I'm talking about that smooth, airy feel you get when you run your hand across a freshly waxed car. Zaino also takes 10x's more time to apply, so if time is an issue to you, I'd go with Meguair's.

First off, Zaino is not a wax, it is a polymer. Zaino can be layered and that is how you can achieve the greatest shine. Though I haven't tried it yet, I will be getting some this summer becuase of the continued reports of it being amazing. As for it being the best, I dunno, Klasse and Wolfgang look good too, but they havn't received as much attention as the Zaino system. As for the beat wax, P21S rules all. It can be used on it own, but is a great top coat for any polymer. You can put a coat of that on top of Zaino and not only will the car have a very plasticy shine, but it will get deeper and darker with P21S. I can't wait to try these products out. I will also be getting Klasse to compare as I am a detail freak and will compare Zaino vs. Klasse.
