Seat cover "rail thing" comes off

Anyone else have this problem:

Drivers seat, left side, towards the bottom (between the seat and the door). There's the cloth and it's attached to a metal or plastic rail. Ideally, this is sorta folded under the seat itself and held in place.

I noticed mine came off a couple days ago. Fixed it, or so I thought, and it's the same way again.

Anyone else with this problem? Easy fix that I might have overlooked? Warranty issue?

Thanks,

yes I did. I got a lot of threads talking about the pull-away problem (wrinkling of the seat back) and a bunch that seem to have nothing to do with seats.

Perhaps I searched using the wrong terms; but I always search before I post a problem. Problem is, sometimes the answers here get buried in a 500 post thread . . .

I'll try to fix it tonight. Anyone else have it recurring after fixing?

all hail the mighty merge... grab a beer, lean back, prop your feet back and wade through it as best you can...

or just start a new thread like this one, get your answer quick, and let it be merged with the 500 post threads.

I have this problem as well. Thank you Alacris for posting up the old thread, didn't know anyone else was having this problem. Anyway, I will let the dealer fix it. Funny how the only problem with my supposed low quality Mitsubishi is with the almighty Recaro!

Update, it came off again. This time I tried really hard to make sure I fixed it right.

Turns out I was not getting it right on the frontmost clip-rail. It's almost like there's two tracks, one that it will fit on, but not tight, and an inner track with three flange/clips. Because the clips are spaced out and not continuous, I had the seat's rail in two of them but not the third (the front most flange).

I hope this makes sense. If you've had this problem, you likely know what I'm talking about. Anyway, it was harder to get it on the third flange, but I did, and it's held up for a few days now.
