ANother Wallpaper I made.... Opinions?
anyone care for an evo "MR" wallpaper?
this is the best i can do.. i tried doing the yellow and the white, but its just too hard because those shades of color are just too light to work with.
here you go...

btw, the original picture u took is freakin amazing and its on my desktop now. what were the settings u used on your camera? i just bought me a fuji finepix s5000 and i cant take pictures that can even compete with that.. but anyway, i love the pics.. cant wait to see the rest of your portfolio
here's the best i can do for black.. sorry if there's not much variation in color from thunder gray, but the darker i tried to go, the more the clouds would go away on the car. so here it is..
that yellow looks really good.. a little too 'metallic', but its really good.. how'd u do that? i tried putting a yellow layer over the blue evo and tried playing with the hue/saturation options, the layer transarencies (sp?), opacity, etc. and i still couldnt manage to do that
I used the red one and when in hue/sat check the colorize button, gives you better colors, just messed with it for a while and finally found something I was satisfied with.

Just a comment on the lighting, location, the poles, etc since a lot of people seem to think that stuff isn't a good part of the photo. If you'll notice the lighting is brightest on the car which successfully focuses your attention there while the blemishes in the blacktop draw your eyes around the image so you really see the whole car at once rather than just the brightest or most prononunced points. Similarly the poles offset the dominance of the large car taking up most of the image giving the whole thing a more real feeling by providing scale. Finally, where else would expect to see a rally car then in a dirty "rough" environment, where do you want it, in a pristine showroom, boring and undriven? The location is absolutely perfect. Just my $.02. Oh, also, to the artist - brilliant work, really beautiful.

Im blushing.

I love the work I do, and I really hope to continue impressing you guys!
Great comments on the composition as well. I could have easily taken out the poles, but as you said, they add ALOT of contrast to between their color and the Blue of the Evo. Also, their placement in the picture ring true to the old "Rule of Thirds", splitting up the composition into three 'areas'.
Awesome work on the new colors, thanks! I would love to also see the original picture as well since the first posting of it wasn't working..
