So anyways I had my bumper off bending FMIC fins back into place and deciding if I want to de-bling the headlights. After I finished with the fins (they were really bad, a whole row looked like they were welded together no idea how it happened) I went to clean it up and a little, and got this idea. So I started sanding and compounding and this is what I came up with. I'm trying to decide If I'll keep it and do the other side. What do you guys think?

 

I was thinking of doing that. I think it looks good! But I think you'll have to leave the headlights alone to match the intercooler

 

Leave lights and continue with end tanks.

 

Looks shiney, leave the headlights and bling out the IC.

It looks nice, nothing wrong with showing it off a little

 

It took a couple of hours, not hard at all. But sanding and polishing always feels like a chore. I remember seeing an aluminum heat shield once that looked polished or was billet or something. I loved it but can't remember who was selling it.

 

It looks badass but, it's going to be a nightmare to keep clean.

 

Looks good, but won't last without some type of sealant.

I polished my end tanks months ago. It is holding up fine, except for water spots.
