I've only ridden in a regular EVO once and it did seem a tad quieter. In the RS, you hear a lot of small noises. On top of that you can hear the road noise. It's never loud or annoying, IMO. Also, I think the noises are so noticable because of the lack of stereo. I love my RS! Later.

are u finding no power stuff annoying?

 

yea id have to ask the same ? as o2 do you find that not having power windows, doors, no keyless entry a hassle? also i know you probably wouldnt know the diffrence if you havent driven an evo gsr but have you had any issues with the lack of having ABS on the car?

 

rs is just a strip down version correct?looks nice.alteast come with power window locks.

There's no "urban jungle" package or power locks. A/C is standard. The magazines were way off on the information for the RS.

 

Would love to hear comments on the brakes. Lock-up, rain etc.

 

I know for a fact that a person on here has power windows and door locks on his RS......

Pedal feel seems better with the RS -- more direct than a normal Evo. I haven't had mine long enough to comment on rain, threshold braking in competition, etc., but I don't miss the ABS at this point. The big open space on the firewall is nice too. Combined with the lack of black sound insulation on the firewall and a white car, the engine bay is cleaner/more open.
