Request for pics of Evo on Tein H-tech springs
That looks pretty sweet, although I think I would rock the S-Techs if I didnt want to run the stock rims for a while yet. That is why I am leaning toward the H-Techs, the S-Techs make the EVO look like the kid who is cruising the strip in his '91 LS Integra every day with stock steelies and sits about 1" off of the ground. With rims the STechs look sick, but with stock wheels they just look cheap IMO. I think I might go with the H-Techs until I can afford some 18s and a set of coilovers. Does anyone have any side shots with stock wheels like Trutz's first posted pic? Thanks guys!!!
I had the Htechs on my first Evo. There used to be some pics on here but, they are gone for some reason.
I personally did not like the H techs. It was too low in the front and would scrape all the time. It also rode like a basket ball on them. It wasn't until I got my second Evo that I realized how quickly they killed the ride quality and provided no real handling gains. You're probably going to think I'm crazy but, I also noticed a big increase in wind noise form the change in attitude of the car. They do look good though.
I put Eibachs on my current Evo and like them much better. Also, a lot of people that work in the aftermarket parts biz will tell you, Tein makes good coil overs but, their lowering springs kind of suck. After my experience with them I would kind of have to agree.
I'm not trying to hurt anyones feelings just stating my opinion.

I don't remember the name of the line. They are the less aggresive drop of the two. I've had them on for 2 years and haven't noticed any settling. You may want to look into the Hotchkiss springs. I have heard good things about them as well.
