You can not retain the bumper beam with this bumper. That is the only reason I didn't buy it. I don't think any of the fiberglass bumpers are strong. There just isn't enough flex in fiberglass to keep it from cracking on impact. If you want a more durable bumper, C-West makes a PFRP front but it is very expensive and hard to find.
yes i know about the c-west reinforced plastic bumber... i dont really want to lose the bumper beam because my car is not a show car a daily driver and **** happens. but does anyone know of any companies that manufacture a bumber that doesnt need the remove of the bumper beam to be fitted.
The Gialla Bumper is a good bumper. You can pretty much assume with any aftermarket front bumper though, the factory beam will have to be removed. I dont really think this beam matters as much as people think however. The C-West PFRP front bumper is reallly good. PFRP is extremely strong and flexable. You wont ever have to worry about cubing something and it shattering like fiberglass will. As far as i know, www.JDMBodyKits.com has a pretty good selection of C-West stuff for pretty amazing prices. I believe they can even special order the Gialla front bumper. A friend of mine just got a kit from them and had alot of good things to say.
