I was wondering what kind of wax you all use for your evo. What makes the EVO shine. Thanks

I've had really good luck with the new Turtle Wax (I think it is the Premier line). It does a great job and doesn't cost a fortune. I also like the fact that it comes off easier than the Maguires I was using.

I like Pinnacle. buy the whole kit. Pricey( 75 dollars a tub) but it is brilliant on black and great on red.

P21S. But I never just wax...I polish with Zaino and then layer the wax onto it.

I like mothers. I use the polish (phase II) and then the wax (phase III). I usually wax more frequently than polish because the polish probably take a layer of paint off after 100 times?

I'd post pics but my Apex Silver just doesnt have the "glow" the darker colors do...

The results of Meguiers are amazing. I apply "show car glaze", buff off, and then apply the "yellow wax" and then buff off. It's what I found works best.

I use Griots 3 stage polish, gets rid of any surface scratches. And for wax, lately I've been using that meguiars tech x...good stuff. {thumup}

Yup I've seen nothing but good things about the Tech X. I just finished applying it to both of my parents cars and even if the car is left in the rain, the paint is still clean w/ no water spots. When my order of microfiber towels comes in, I'm gonna rewax my car with that stuff.

polish you should take off right away. some people do one panel, then do a second then take off the polish on the first panel, etc etc.

i use zaino or production... depending on my mood. zaino is synthetic obviously and production is carnuba.

P21s is great stuff. I use Klasse-All-in-One polish before the P21s. Check out http://store.yahoo.com/autopia/index.html - they've got a bunch of articles and products to choose from.

Amen to Liquid Glass. It's amazing stuff. Took a clay bar and liquid glass to our 98 328i that's has some fading paint, and it look incredible. Very hard Polymer.
