Racing parts

I was gauging interest and am thinking of producing FUNCTIONAL racing aero enhancements for the EVO... (yes they still look great) I have a doluck/varis style lip in fiberglass with flexible polyurethane resin (but can paint it like fiberglass) for the stock bumper, lip/gurny flap for the stock rear spoiler/wing (keeps the rear planted in those fast 110 mph+ corners) Front cannards like on my car (looses the front end "hunting" in 80+ mph corners) but pre fit to the stock bumper, front and rear flat bottom trays. KK or the mods don't blast me! I'm just seeing if there is interest in functional tested race winning parts! PM me for $$$ and Time to delivery but this could happen within the month...and like by hero David Buschur no insane JDM pricing...Made in the USA Tested on our tracks and proven winning parts! Parts even the Guru panel at the SCC USCC loved! (second only to the Sparco EVO and we all know how sick that ride is!) check the SIG (even with a fat old guy at the wheel) these parts are fast.

robi sounds like fun.

you are going to be flooded with picture requests.
on a side note, you say you have a rear under tray, it looks to me like the rear bumper ought to be cut out to raise the rear of an under tray. though it is prolly more effort than it is worth.
anyway looking forward to what ends up being developed. could you pm me?

Oh these are avalible RIGHT NOW! line up guys these take 5 minutes to install and use all of the factory mounting points and interior trim . Cleanest aftermarket mirror kit I've seen to date

Hrm, I'm confused, so you're making these or APR is?

Anyhow, looks like awesome stuff, I'm broke though. But I would definetly be interested in the rear underpanel. I would probably smash the front stuff up hitting cones though.

I've been the EVO test mule for APR and we've been refining the wing profile (drag vs angle of attack needed to keep the cars back end nailed down in the high speed stuff without hurting low speed turn in) with APR's wing I can now dial in down force till I run out of HP (about 150 with 20 degree angle) and front end grip...note the large splitter and big cannards to offset the wings downforce. We have pict's of the car at 100 120 130 140 and 150 mph and using the ride height I get about 200 lbs at 100 growing to almost 450 lbs by 150 mph and yes it kills top end with the max downforce dialed in but we had the fastest Touring time of the day on a green sears point track during and after the rains...on street tires wear rating 140 or greater..(we are a T-3 car remember hehehe). OTC results check them out...3" of wing and the front splitter less than 1/2" off the ground! (the splitter has two settings for more or less downforce/clearance)

is their front splitter the same as yours? it looks like theirs screws to the main bumper so it would be very high off the ground.

Mine is a prototype and they are finishing a more structural splitter from the data we gathered.. I wanted the splitter to be sacraficial and match the canard profile more, also the Kaminari bumper is 1" lower than stock and my car sits 2" lower in front and 2.75 " (about) lower in the rear so My splitter is down there! and you can see it has hit its share of transitions and curbs on the race track ;-). a similar splitter would run about 250.00 with two sets of turnbuckles instead of the alu strapping. and is I can source them now through the supplier of the front and rear trays cannards and splitter(NIN).

I am interested in anything that is Functional.. But to be realistic, I'd end up destroying anything like a splitter on the front end, so your thoughts about producing something functional and durable definitely got my attention.

it would be trick if the splitter would ride up high untill it had some wind resistance then be forced down, so at high speed it would "be there" . a couple of really short rear hatch lift gate type pistons might hold it up untill the wind was to much, that and a collar behind the bumper so that when the thing did drop down it had a panel to fill the gap.

I will bump this because your a helpful guy.

How much for a set of those front canards? The gurney flap?

And I'm glad you tested out a rear-wing in conjunction with the rear underpanel. I see another vendor selling the underpanel without warning people that it might not be a good idea to use it without a better wing.

I feel that you need more rear wing with the rear undertray (and my track experiance showed this too) even the undertray supplier used a gurny flap to try and hold the back of his car down too!

Do you have any picks of under-trays and stuff like that? What about air ducts to the front brembo's?
