Question about Pioneer AVIC-N1...
I just got the unit installed today but I cant seem to get the vehicle display to work (ie: speed lat g's ect...) can anyone help? Does it need time to learn or did they install it wrong, do I have to set it up...????
I am pretty sure I bought everything....again I had it installed I mean I am pretty sure that it came with everything except the camera and voice recognition I paid enough for it so it better have come with the vehicle display...
Yo,
the VEHICLE DYNAMICS IS NOT A SEPARATE UNIT!! i repeat, the VEHICLE DYNAMICS IS NOT A SEPARATE UNIT!!
follow the initialization instructions in the manual and you will be fine. When you click on the vehicle dynamics button, what is the message that appears on the screen, i installed mine myself and i works perfectly.

Does pioneer have the stupid wires that connect to the brake and hand brake?? Alpine stuff does not do any set up stuff until the activation sequence is set, (step on the brake, pull the hand brake twice, second time leaving it on and the letting off the brake) RRRR

Vehicle Dynmics has to be learned. In the Navigation set up there are settings for the VD. I think its on the last tab. It shows how far you have driven and amount of turns. Hope this helps.
