ok.. the rota torques.. which are an exact stock size in the evo fitment weigh less then 18 lbs... that is well lighter then stock, the finsih is outstanding.. its an overal full quality wheel, made by the exact same process. Why pay a ridiculous mark up on the works wheels because of currency exchange?
The work emotions on the black car i posted were warped, yet no one of the many norcal members pushing the rotas to the limits has had any kind of issues like that. Im not suggesting they are stronger, but they surely are not an inferior made wheel.. the center caps dont fit with the rotas.. and they dont with with the work either. the only differences are the little sticker, and id much rather put some money towards something like a gialla hood then having a designer wheel with a sticker on it.
of course if you want the 18s.. they are not available by rota yet, but your ride isnt as good with 18s.. and you cant use the best tires available for the evo anymore which are made for 17s..with 17s, coilovers are mandatory, looks like crap without it.

Also you can get this wheels in Forged 19 lbs. $1,000 extra.
I invested that extra $1,000 on a set of Rotora Rotors instead and that's where I got the weight difference between the cast vs forged.
btw, would you mind e-mailing me that shot of my car? Thanks.

you gotcha, and to clarify one the center caps.... there is nothing covering the hub on this wheel design.. it simply just does not fit over, not a big deal just dont be suprised after the fact........I like the look personally, however just imagine, you could go to subydude.com (hes the man) get your rotas so cheap i dare not say..and have plenty of money left over for cross drilled rotors, a vortex generator, some ralliart pedals, and some evo VII tails for the same price you paid for the authetic... oh yeah and make sure you get some crazy lugs... i got the mcgrabs from subydude which are of the highest quality super light weight design.
