eclipse 8022 unit HELP!!!

ok...i have this head unit (dvd/monitor combo)

for some reason ever since i installed it, my battery has been being drained when i turn off my car...i did notice that the lights on the head unit stay on even when i power off the car...

so basically whenever i turn off my car for more than like 24 hours my battery is dead...i'm assuming it has something to do with the way the wiring was done, but i used the Mitsu harness and i'm pretty sure everything was wired up...th eonly thing is the power source i'm guessing is doing a constant drain rather than the switched power...

anyone have any ideas or can help i'd really appreciate it.

Other than that...this is a pretty tight unit...i'd rather not have to sell it .

I have the same unit and have had no problems. Did you maybe switch the yellow and red wires. One is ignition power the other is constant 12VDC...also, where did you ground the unit to?

Yellow should go to constant 12V, red to a switched wire. Check the illumination wire, too (either orange or orange/white).
