I don't recommend the Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S as a summer tire. It's a great-all season tire, but no where near the grip of the A046's. As the weather warms up it feels "greasey" in the dry. No problems in the wet, though.

Well, the Pirelli Nero summer is discontinued in the stock size, so I would probably skip that one. The Goodyear is one of the best tires in its class. Excellent dry and wet weather traction. Decent ride as well. And the BFG is a great dry/wet tire, but not as good as the Goodyear. It can also be a loud tire, especially as it wears.

Back to topic my choice was the Pirelli, but like Neal said no more in stock sizes

Probably not the biggest, but it's definatly one of them. I mean I really liked the stock Yoko's, they had amazing grip, but they wore down fast. From what I can see, the BFG and the Good Year are very comparable as far as performance goes so the fact that one might wear longer might sway me to buy that one over the other one.

I don't see the KDW2 produced in the oem size... The Direzza, also not produced in the oem size, would be a much better wearing tire than the Goodyear, but you will trade performance to get it. Anytime you move to a lower class of tire you'll trade performance for practical traits. What size are you thinking cause of the ones mentioned I the GSD3 is the only one made in the 235 size.

Hey, I know I'm in the market for new tires as well...and have been looking at some private label Goodyear F1's called Essenze Type R's . You seen these? They'll save you some serious $$$ between the F1's and the Essenza. Plus, you probably be real satisfied with the treadwear, temp, and traction ratings.
PS : In the last couple issues of Super Street...there was a tire shootout. Goodyear F1 was an awesome performer.
