Im a fan of the RPF1's & this +18 / +38 spec in the 10" wide has caught the attn of many hard core EvO owners.

Its a very aggressive wheel. To give you an idea, I run the 275/40 which has a tire circum of 2047mm (which is considered on the high side) vs this 45 series tire at 2077.

If you can get the wheels less the tires, that might be best. A 255/40 will certainly help w/the fitment in the rear & front (BTW, a 255 is the min width allowed on the 10" wheel which is OK)

I ran this on the calculator just to show you how tough this spec is:

I compared it to my setup: 17x9.5 +30 running 275/40. Your proposal pokes 1.09" / 27.70 mm's further outboard than mine (see image) (BTW, I put you on a 275/35 tire)

My setup required a rear fender roll, a rear fender pull, rear bumper bolt relocation, rear splash guard delete & -1.9 degree of camber

This is just too tough & cant be done on a stock body EvO. Only suited for a serious over-fender application

If you have other questions, let me know

Much better offset & wheel width

I did the calculation on the 9.5" & +35

The 265 is certainly a nice wide width so some fender work will be needed. Expect to do a rear roll & possibly a bumper bolt relocation. (rear fender pull not needed)

Heres the comparison to my setup, as you know what I had to do. Your proposal has .20" more clearance!

would 9.5inch ET22 work on both front and rear?? I don't plan on upgrading fenders for the ES6s. ALso, what tire size would you recommend (lowered on swift springs/fenders rolled)

+22 / 9.5" has been done many times w/varying degrees of success.

Hopefully no front spacers are needed!

Really depends on what youre after

If you want this to be show set-up w/the possibility of some rear rub, then just a rear roll and a bumper bolt relocation & approx -2+ degrees of rear camber. You will need a stretch tire setup (i.e. 245/35)

If youre looking for full rear tire clearance (no rub), then a rear pull, fender roll & bumper bolt re-location will be needed running a 255/35. -1.8 to -1.9 degrees of rear camber

Let me know if you have other questions

Thats a very nice wheel & an excellent size for the stock body EvO (18x9.5 +35)

Depending on tire size, a rear fender roll should be all that is needed. If you went w/an aggressive 275/35 tire, you will likley need a bit more than a roll

As far as tires go what size can I get away with and not fender roll?(it's been the one thing that has stopped me from getting wheels and I've had the car for 6 years!)

If you want to stay conservative, go w/the 255/35. If you really are concerned about fit, go w/the minimum allowed on a 9.5" wheel which is a 245/35

so, ive got the ES6s ordered, but i guess there will be a long wait, Im looking at these Cosmis XT 206s. My search is only bringing up the questions of 18x9.5 +10 on evos 8...What about the 18x9 +33??? Also, Should i run a lower offset in the rear to save my fenders?

Steer clear of that +10. That wheel would be tough to fit using rear overfenders (i.e. Voltex)

That 18x9 +33 is a very good wheel size if you go that route. Try & keep all 4 wheels w/the offset so you can rotate.

There are those guys that run the Enkei +18 up front & +38 in the rear but you cant rotate positions

You asked: Should i run a lower offset in the rear to save my fenders? Its actually the higher offset needed in the rear (i.e +10 does not work, where +33 will)

Any other questions, let me know
