Usually, semi-metallic pads sacrifice initial response to perform better at higher temperatures, but the CC-X is able to do well at initial response as well. At higher temperatures, pedal feeling responds well while maintaining controllability with a stable coefficient of friction.

Type CCR

Fade, brake controllability and braking force are kept in mind when developing this pad for the circuit. This pad was developed to improve and increase cornering speed. This pad allows "late braking" to increase corner speed. CC-R uses a new, special blend of ceramic carbon metal materials which has contributed in increased controllability. A balance of braking and tire grip is needed during cornering. This compound helps to achieve this while maintaining its rotor friendliness.

your low end temps were swapped. thats how i was remembering which pad was which.

...more pads to add to the list. I know its an old thread.

Pagid Brake Pads

Description:

Dark Blue Sport: Street - This is a high performance compound with low fading characteristics and high cold-friction. The most comfortable medium friction sport compound. The Sport Pad is rotor friendly and suitable for street and light track use!

Orange RS 4-4: Racing - This compound has a very good fade resistance and a higher average friction value than the RS 4-2. It is rotor friendly with predictable, non-aggressive friction behavior (stable torque). Fading resistance up to 560°C (1.050°F). It is a very good rear compound for Touring Car applications in combination with RS 29 or RS 19 Yellow front pads. It is used on either Short Track or Long Distance. It is also used on BMW Showroom Stock, all other Touring-Cars and Single- Seater up to F3.

Yellow RS 19: Racing - Pagid's classic compound for endurance racing on the basis of the RS 14. A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1.100°F) are possible. The combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) realized with this pad compound is unmatched up to now. Due to its outstanding wear rate and driveability, PAGID endurance materials are often used at sprint races. A multiple winner of Daytona 24h, Le Mans 24h, Sebring 12h, Spa 24 h, Nürburgring 24h, often with no pad change and usually no disc (rotor) change.

Yellow RS 29: Racing New endurance compound. This compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Due to its outstanding wear rate and driveability, PAGID endurance materials are often used at sprint races as well.

Black RS 14: Racing - This is a medium high friction value ceramic type compound with very good modulation, high fade resistance, low heat conductivity, and a good wear rate up to a temperature of 650°C (1.200°F). It is kind on discs, with visible grooving, but a limitation of hairline cracks. Applications include NASCAR, CART, F3, Touring cars, GT cars, WSC, Trans Am and Rally.

Since Pagid pads tend to "out-gas" we recommend using these pads with a new gas-slotted or cross-drilled rotor for the best performance. Pagid brake pads are not compatible with previously used rotors, especially if used with a carbon or Kevlar based race pad.

Pagids took ALL 6 PODIUM POSITIONS in the 24 hrs of Daytona.
Craig has this exact compound pad for our cars at www.Rennstore.com

Toughest, best pad made.

$267.20 and $203.20 F&R is what I paid

Price: $175.00 (front)
Price: $109.00 (rear)

Product Details
Cobalt GT-Sport is a proven, class-winning ProSolo Autocross compound exhibiting good cold performance, a strong, aggressive initial bite, linear pedal feel with excellent modulation, and high fade resistance. Along with its excellent performance, the GT-Sport compound is rotor friendly and has very good wear rates over a broad operating temperature range. For the serious autocross driver, the GT-Sport will let you take back the time under braking! Also suitable for spirited street driving (i.e. canyon and mountain drives, etc.) and novice to intermediate level HPDE events on most vehicles (under 3000lbs).
The best pad a reasonable price. I've used several on the track and have found these to be the best performance so far. Once you use them you won't want to change back.

Hate break it to you, but they are just rebranded Hawk pads. Don't ask me how I know.

I just learned this the hard way at the Gateway Time Attack. The pads still stopped me, but the shimmy was just crazy in the steering wheel....felt like you had a compeltely losened wheel!

The fade and feel of the pads is just as mentioned though....45 mins no fade and same bite non stop.
