I'm trying to decide how I want to lower my car, and I'm getting mixed feedback from both this forum and my friends that have lowered their cars already. Continued research only confuses me further.
Basically this poll is to see how long you've had your lowering springs installed, and if they're showing any lag at all, or if you're having any problems with the stock struts after you've lowered the car. Please vote and post: the type of springs you have, how much your car is lowered, and what type (if any) of problems you've had.
Other than that, feel free to post opinions, pictures, whatever associated with lowering springs....
Thanks!

Ive had my evo since march of 03 and installed Eibach pro's shortly after. As of now I've had no problems. Ride's like stock just slightly stiffer on bumps.
No one else? If this is just a dumb poll, forgive me. I'm just trying to do some research before I make a decision about something that I really have no clue about....I'm so suspension dumb, it hurts. Well, maybe not that bad, but I really have no clue what to do to my car. Some say springs only are fine, some say coilovers are the only way to go. Either way, this post is just a cheap form of a bump just trying to get more attention to this poll.

I've been running Tanabe springs for bout 16K miles with no problems.
The good thing bout living in Fl. is we have good roads, easy on the struts.
pm your email so I can send some pix.

It's a big improvement from the stock springs but it's stiffer. I have not taken the Evo to an autocross yet but I take corners agressively on my daily driving. No complaints their, If U want a stiffer ride then go with Tanabe but if U want same drop as tanabe but not as stiff than go with Hotchis(spelling?).Originally Posted by autoXer14
Toobs, did u feel any improvement on handling compare to stock. u ever autocross on these tanabes?
Hope this helps...

When are we ever going to get an aftermarket shock for the EVO??? Maybe something a little shorter than stock.. A spring and shock upgrade, especially as the stock shocks start to go, would be ideal for me.
