Yes. You should flush your brake lines completely at least once per year. If you drive the car really hard (like on the track) you should bleed your brakes afterwards.

I'm sure there's a description in the how-to section. Basically, you need about 500mL of brake fluid, a box-end wrench of the right size (I think it's 10mm but I don't remember), a hose that fits on the bleeder nipple, an empty bottle, and someone to help.

Each caliper has two brake bleeder nipples (one on each half of the caliper). You stick the hose on the nipple, have your friend pump up the brake pedal, then release the valve and pour off the fluid into the bottle. Periodically check the fluid reservoir and keep topping it up so you don't run out. Keep pumping and drawing off the old fluid until you start to see clear, new fluid pouring through.

Then repeat for both bleeders on all 4 calipers.

If your going to bleed the system. Start on the caliper farthest from the brake master cylinder.

That's what I do myself...but it turns out it's not necessary. Sort of an automotive old wives' tale.

Many of my friends are professional road and rally racers and none of their teams follow that rule anymore. (BTW: I'm talking about professional teams, like Fiat/Abarth and Ford).
