Light, high quality wheels

Who makes the lightest (high quality) wheels? I'm looking for 17" or 18" wheels that are extremly light and of very high quality. Any suggestions?

In the 17" sizes they weigh anywhere from 13-15.5 lbs.

For weight and quality vs. price you have got to look seriously at the Enkei RPF1

I'd add BBS and OZ to that list as well.

Gramlight 57F. Made by Rays Engineering (same as Volks). 13.8 lbs in 17x8.5". That is the lightest confirmed weight I have seen for any wheel in 17x8+". They are also forged monoblocks.

I wouldn't. And I'll tell you why....

BBS or OZ doesn't have any wheels that weigh less than 15lbs that fit the Evo.

I love my buddy club P1 Racing QF rims. second best item I bought for the EVO...

Gave my left kidney (j/k) to buy them, but it was well worth it. The rims weighed in at 13.5lbs on my bathroom scale. The advertised weight is 14.5lbs/rim.

Be warned however, the buddy clubs won't clear the front calipers on the EVO without a spacer.

Very true. I just assumed that the creator of this thread has an evo.

I bought them used from Gruppe-S. Even used these were very expensive, far more than I was planning on spending, but the results have been awesome. You might try contacting Gruppe-S on the availability of these rims or any others listed in this thread. They have a good network in Japan looking for deals similar to mine.

specs:

17x9 +35mm offset
