What tires to get?

I was wondering what tires you guys would recommend for the EVO. I want really good grip and handeling. Right now ihave the stock Advan tires on the car. On my other car i have had the Toyo Proxes Fz4, Toyo Proxes t1-s, and Nitto 555. I liked the Nitto really well. What are your thought? Thanks
James

I've become quite partial to my Michelen pilot sport ps2's, I like them better than the stock advans. Not cheap tho'!

^^ sorry had too

The PS2 is an excellent performer, probably the best in its class right now. Bridgestones S-03 and Goodyear GS-D3 are great as well. If your on a budget, take a look at Kumho's MX. Great bang for the buck.

I'm trying to decide too.. I had S-03's last year but I'll probably end up going with Advans this year.

Aren't the KDW2's more than Advans?

For daily drive, I'll go for GoodYear F1 GS-D3 or Michelin PS2, they are great.

Looking for something like the A046? BF KDW look to be the best choice.

I have right know the Goodyear on my car, and like them.

I went with the Hankook's from discount tires or tire rack.........can't remember which one. $74.00 a piece was the cheapest I could find anywhere. They are great from what I've experienced thus far.

Avon M500 work's really good in the rain.......Tire wear has been good, ride is slightly softer than the A046, definately quieter than the A046 & grip is really good too. You can also rotate them in a traditional fashion as well. Paid ~125 a tire.

Good Luck.

BFG KDW's or KDWS's are a great choice because of decent price, good treadwear and still outstanding grip. I have a set of each and change out during summer and winter to make them last longer. If you just want killer grip go for the KD's. Can't say how long they will last though if you play rough like most of us.....
