Since our cars are already braced from the factory on the bottom, I don't think you'll see much improvement by bracing it some more. I guess it won't hurt anything. I like the idea of the WORKS CROTCH2 plate though. It just completely ties all the brace points together on one piece of thick sheet metal.

the front lower arm bars provide a very noticeable improvement in turn in response

uhm... you keep asking the same questions and not taking people's anwers... if you wanna find out how good a strut bar is take the one you have on your car off... see if it matters to you. if you can't tell we'll keep it a secret ;].

everyone has already said it helps the sus work the way it's suppose to. that's it... if your strut towers flex you don't get fast chassis and suspension response. the reason why a front sway bar promotes understeer is because it loads the weight in the front end of the car faster (faster chassis response). same for rear sway bar... the faster loading gives you that extra response that takes out the slop that would otherwise make your car behave differently.

that's why sus is all about tuning because you're tuning a specific behavior otuta your car. you tune it so that when you're turning you can do it in harmony with the suspension at the speed desired. hence the reason why high speed handling is different than low speed handling sus setups. nascar likes understeer, rally likes oversteer, partially because of speed of turns involved and partially because of the turns present in the racing.

the lower tie bar type i makes your steering more precise because it links the lower control arms to something rigid.

hte lower tie bar type ii makes your chassis more rigid cuz ot ties a lotta points underneath the front of the car together... this stiffness however is just stiffness no direct applicational effect... just good as far as stiffness is good.

Thanks, I was just getting feedback more from a vendor and I like individual owner feedback based on their own mod and seat-of-the-pants (or even something more quantified) experience.

I've done as much research here as I can in old threads as well. Thanks all for the input!
