Broken wheel lug

So I thnk I broke one of my wheel lugs.. Here's the deal, I noticed a clunk today as I was driving around so I decided to pull my front wheels off to see what the deal was.

One of the lug nuts came about half way out and then just started spinning, it has some side to side, and in and out play in it, and I can just about see the threads of the lug between the nut and the wheel. How can I get this thing off? and what are the chances that I have chewed up the hub so I need a new lug AND hub?

Thanks in advance.
