Tein Flex Camber plate settings
Tein Flex Camber plate settings
Guys i bought a used set of Tein Flex coilovers about a year ago. I recently got a set of rims and new tires and upon installing them I saw that the front two tires were wearing slightly more on the inside than the outside. I had the car already aligned after I installed the coilovers. Then I inspected the front camber plates and saw that they were not ligned up evenly. The passenger side showed almost at 0 while the drivers side showed like -3 camber. So I set them both at zero. Can anyone else tell me what the correct setting would be. I did not play with the drop at all and it is a tein facory drop. I don't feel like wearing through these new tires.
Making a random change to your toe plates is only going to hurt you.
Adding camber will gain toe in. Removing camber will gain toe out. In most cases each side of the car will be adjusted slightly different to get an equal camber setting.
Take it to a good shop and have them align the car and be done with it. If your worried about tire wear reduce camber to about -1 degree. Toe should also be minimal and close to zero.
