MR type shock/spring for '03 Evo again....

There are a ton of us out there with '03 evo's that are unhappy with the ride quality. I have been *****ing about this for a year. There needs to be a way to either match an aftermarket spring to the stock KYB's (which I believe is hard because of the high speed damping of these shocks). I have tried Eibach springs and they were crapola. Much worse than stock. One of two things need to happen if I were Works...
1. Find a way to either acquire the exact model Bilstein's that the MR has (I have checked on this and from the stealer they are about $900.00 fronts and $1200.00 rears) they are not sold in the US through Bilstein, because they are a Euro/Asian model. This hardly makes sense given the price of various coilover set ups.
2. Find and sell a matched set of shocks and springs to duplicate the MR's ride exactly, probably too tough to do and still sell a package around $1000.00-1200.00.
3. I am not a suspension expert but it's obvious that Mits and Bilstein changed the low speed dampening to make the ride quality better and shave 2 seconds off of laps times!!
4. Works or someone needs to offer that type of performance in a package that is lowerpriced than say an average quality coilover set $2500.00?
Does that make sense? Is it possible? I have been asking for replies on the ride quality of your Ride springs when matched to the stock KYB's and I would bet a pay check or two they are either the same or worse than the stock setup...
Any real info would be appreciated........Thanks-

Gruppe-S advertises MR shocks for $925 front and $625 rear so they aren't cheap, but I'm considering making the change on my 05 Evo as the car rides too hard for a street car. I don't know if I want to get into a coil over project as the Evo is not a track car- I have a modded Z28 for the track.
I will be doing something suspension wise, but with the goal of improving the ride. It'll probably be either the MR shocks or some Ohlins coil overs.

Jim, well I am starting to think the coilover setup is going to be the best anyway. Unless we can find a cheaper solution or an available used complete MR setup I am not going to spend that much money on Bilsteins-
Mike or Jim-
Did either of you make a decision on your suspension? I have an 03 and have similar complaints, the shocks are clearly the problem because the springs on their own are not that stiff. I was debating between an Eibach pro-kit with Bilsteins from the MR against the Ohlin coilovers.
Does anyone else have some thoughts on this setup?

I've thought about this as well.
If your goal is better street setup, an used MR set would be preferred. But I'm beginning to lean to a track setup...which it seems like what you guys are not looking into...
