what does dual height adjustability mean?

what does dual height adjustability mean?

any idea what it means? Also with coilovers that have pillow ball mounts make more noise?

In the above pic (not an Evo unit but illustrates the point), there are 2 sets of locking rings - one keeps the spring in place, the other holds the lower mounting bracket (where the coilover mounts to the suspension arm at the bottom of the car) in place. By having a threaded lower bracket, you can adjust rideheight without preloading/compressing the spring. This allows you to maintain suspension travel, despite the fact that you are lower the car.
