For those with the Sparco harness bar...

have you noticed any increase in structural rigidity after you installed the bar? is the install a strict bolt-on, no cutting of interior trim? thanks

It adds alot more rigidity to the car, and yes it's a straight bolt on.

Although the instructions from the website is a bit confusing sometimes. But take your time and have a friend to help you to hold the other end so as not to scratch the paint. I installed the bar myself and it was a pain to hold the bar to screw in the first bolt by myself. Some scratches but not much.
Before you install the triangulation bars (the bars that go from the harness to the bottom belt holder) make sure the threads are even on the eye bolts because that's what you need to adjust for the bar to be secure in the end. No movements whats so ever.
You will need to grind down the top seatbelt cover interior (the one that adjusts the height) because the new bolt is bigger, and you need the room to fit the cover back on.

Do a search, I think I wrote a post on how to install one.
