Does anyone have experience painting their wheels? I just ordered enkei RPF1's and I think they are great looks, price, and weight but I would really like black or gunmetal. I saw schleppy's wheels looked like stock but were black. I have a friend that had his powder coated but he thought that they got warped when he had it done, so he bought SSR competitions.

 

powdercaoted many a wheel and it takes well over 350deg. to worpe a wheel..coat them. last 4 ever when taken care of and wont brake the bank . paintongs ok just use a good clear.

 

Spray can it. Sanded the clearcoat, 2-3 layers of paint, 2-3 layers of topcoat/clearcoat. It's been almost 3 weeks daily driving and still pretty good. Best thing about it... resanding and repainting is easy.

 

rsboy looks pretty good. nice touch with the door.

 

Duplicolor wheel paint! Comes in "wheel" colors like: gunmetal, bronze, silver etc. And touch ups are easy and free.
