Rotor and pad Install Help

I installed Powerslot Slotted Rotors And Project Mu B-Force Pads on my 03 Evo.

I drove about 8 miles to my buddy's house and when I turned right into his driveway I could hear something sort of metal-to-metalish from my front wheels(not sure if it was one or both) Then when I got out of the car I noticed the Rotors were sort of powdered with black brake pad dust ( the whole rotor) on both sides.

Is this normal?????? I need some help....not sure if i should drive the car now.

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

go check to see if you bend the metal backing plate by accident......it may be the reason why you got some metal contact noise.

not sure about the brake dust...since I never use project Mu's pad

Weird...did you bed in the pads? Also, the rotors shouldn't be black.

Did you clean the rotors off before installing them? Many manufacturers will ship brake rotors with a protective coating.
