Tein Basic

Does anybody know if they are any good? I'll probably go to two or three track days a year so I really just want something that handles well on the street. I'll probably pass on them if they are crappy and not much better than stock with lowering springs.

for the money they are not a bad setup at all - however their primary function is to lower the car...no dampening adjustment. much better suited for street vs track

Does the car handle noticeably better with the Basic or does it not make a difference over stock? I mean, I'm trying to decide on coilovers primarily for the street but if these do nothing in terms of improved handling over stock then I'll save more dough.

I agree with what Adam said. If you want to lower your car, Tein basic will serve you well.

Is anyone running tein basic coilovers with feedback on ride & handeling? also Tein recomends running -.9 inches in the rear and -2.1 inches in the front this seems pretty low and raked does anyone have any pictures of what this would look like. I am just intrested because these coilovers seem very well like the name states "basic" and without dampining ajustments you just have to wonder.
