Hi,
I have 4 T1R on my evo 8.
The first 100 miles were slipery with a lot of understeer.
Then grip become better & better with miles on dry road.
These tyres need at least 1000 miles to have a very good dry grip.
For the pressure : 34 front, 32 rear is fine for me on road. A bit more on track is probably needed. I have tryed standard pressure 32/29 with no sucess. Sidewalls are softers than yoko or Bridgestones tyres. But stiffer than PS2, F1, SP9000, T1S...
To go too high with the pressure is definately not a good thing. More pressure = More heat & less grip. So i ll definately stay between 34 to 35 front & 31 to 33 rear.
Good tyre for the price. But i prefer bridgestone or Yoko for the stiffer sidewalls.
T1R have two main defaut :
First, they need too much miles to become good.
Second sidewalls are a little to soft when you drive very very hard
