Question Tein S-Tech or H-Tech...

Done some research and haven't found the info I'm looking for. I want a more agressive look but a comforable ride. Seen everyone buying the S-Tech springs and they look good. Heard though the ride gets a lot rougher and someone had to replace their shocks. Was wondering about the H-tech though. Tein site states; "Comfortable ride quality is still maintained by using the OEM bump rubber and noise protection sheet." If you are useing them can you give me some feedback and a possible pic. Thanks.

Don't buy either, do yourself a favor , save up, and buy some coilovers.....the teins will kill your struts...people have even said the ride is worse than stock. period.

considering you can find s-techs for 80 bucks shipped (used) on the forums. you could get them, and if you dont like 'em its not a big loss.

ive several combos of struts and springs...im not going to go down that road with the evo. zeal function v6.

i say go with some tein coilovers. i forget, but i read somehwere on here about a company that makes springs that make the ride better. it hink makes the front 5lbs softer and rears x lbs harder and its suppose to reduce the "bumpiness". it might have been hotchkis

I had them (h-tech) before I got a set of ralliart coilovers. Had them on for about 10K, maybe a little less. No problems with blown shocks, the ride was fine - not rough and not spongy. The look was perfect and I didn't have to worry about scraping or bottoming out. I would have been just happy with them - but the coilover were a present from my wife.

Thanks... Thats what I'm looking for... Just a little better agressive stance w/o the rough/spongy ride. Mump: Do you have a pic of when you had them on?

i wish more ppl would state their opinions cuz i see a few more guys w/ this setup w/ tein springs...i was interested in these also and would like to see more opinions...(don't mean to bogard this thread) but i had tein coilovers on my civic and i had a bunch of alignment issues when i raised lowered them, and would think that w/ springs it would be less of a hassle...i was also concerned w/ the suspension feel of our stock evo's...is the stiffness solely due to the springs/ struts or a combo of both? and hotchki's seem to be another setup that ppl have up here...any opinions (springs?) tyvm
