evo brake pad Help..

does anyone know if the 350z with the brembo pads.fit
the evo brakes?
I really dont want to go to the dealership to dish out 400 bucks for new brake pads.
Next choice is buying online, set of hawks hp for 200$ would be nice too.Lancershop.com have them for a good price.
But I just need cheap ones, something that you can buy at Checkers auto parts,
Or Napa auto part, These stores have the Evo on the computer, but the parts are all wrong. they do carry the replacement for the 350z with brembo brake, but im not sure if it will fit. any info would help thanks

1. what's wrong with the Hawk HPS? It performs just like stock, it's cheaper, and produces less dust. that's 3 wins in my book.

2. Why do you want "cheap" pads? I hope you know what you got into when you bought the Evo...

3. Do a search...there's millions of reviews for all types of pads.

Ferodo DS 2500s... $240 front/rear shipped from raceshopper.com

Can't beat the performance for the dollar... and many more expensive pads can't beat them period. I'd say they are the only pads I recommend for the street/light track.

350z brembo pads are diff from Evos.....only STI are the same.

You can look into some Porterfield R4S for a good price.

Thanks,
Tom

I have Project Mu (not the B-Force) pads and they are very grippy..very loud though...and the rotors get very unusual wear patterns, but I have been told by many different tuners not to fret...just very aggresive pads..don't know pricing though...have had them for a few months now and so far so good!!

i've asked that sometime last year, i believe.

project mu b-force aint that bad. they work better under heavy heat and stress.

they don't fade as much

Go to NAPA, autozone or where ever and give it a shot. If they don't fit, which will take about 60 seconds to figure out, take them back. Let us know what you find out. I could always use a cheap street pad solution.

Thanks for the info guys, I try the replacement for the 350z brembo. they look the same,
but the 350 z is a tab pid smaller, it dont cover as much surface as the evo.I have over 65 k miles on my evo, this is my 3rd set im looking to buy.
My 1st set of stock replament was at 25k miles. They only lasted me to 40k mile ( had a job change ,drive in 2 hours of stop and go each day argh...)
Lucky at that time my buddy bought a evo to.

My 2nd set of brembo i got them from a friend for 350 bucks with only 100 miles on them.
he gave me all 4 set of pad+ new rotors.
He order his upgrade brake the same night he drove home from the dealer, with his new car.We install it 3 day later when the ups man came to the door.

I just want something really cheap this time, Autozone,Napa,Advance auto ect. and them have the cheapo brand for like 70bucks front+rear. but evertime they bring out the parts. it the one for the lancer, oz or es. All 7 store i tryed did the same thing to me.
Last night i order up a set of F/R Project mu NS for 145 bucks from One of our vender here on EvoM. Thanks for the info guys...

ive seen a post where you recommend endless pads, how are these compared to the ferrado's, which seem to be the most popular?
