Overall heighth or rolling radius, the 235/45R17 and 255/40R17 are the closest.
If you wanna take advantage of the widths, having a wider wheel to accommodate the wider tire will be more advantageous...

either, cuz i think staggering for oversteer shouldn't be done. there are much better ways to obtain oversteer. i maintain what i said about the breakway characteristic reasoning for running staggered.
