Flat Tire

Well i was just leaving the dealership today to get my radio warrentied and i noticed my tire was slightly low. I drove like down the road and i could tell the tire was flat . I had a cheap impact wrench(150 ft. torque) in the car which couldn't do the job at getting the nuts loose, because the dealer used a impact wrench an thightened the crap out of the nuts. So i had to walk 4 miles back to Harbor Freight and return the wrench and buy a breaker bar or w.e. its called. So i walk back and finally get the tire off after like 2hrs. 1 plus was that this girl gave me her number as i was walkin down the road.

Sorry if i b****ed too much but it was a pita. So anyways I was wondering if it is possible to slime my tires? From the looks of it there is a piece of a razor blade stuck in the center of the tire. If it cant be fixed is it ok to buy a new tire or will it mess with the awd? the tires have about 80%+ tred left. Thanks again

Wouldn't recommend any of that slime or fix-a-flat. Most tire places won't touch the wheel/tire once you've used it.

As long as the puncture is not on the edge of the tire, then it is easily fixable. IF the puncture is near the edge or sidewall though you just bought a new tire. FYI, if you track the car at all don't use the patched tire.

If you drove for any length of time on the flat, you probably trashed the sidewalls.

Remember: w/ AWD or 4x4 you need to replace all 4 tires due to the circumference (sp) around the tire. Is one is larger than the other 3 it will in the long run damage your car.
