From: BeAvErToN,
springs! springs! spring!

what lowering springs should i get? which is better out of these: RSR, Eibach, tanabe, esplir, HR, cusco....etc
i want a 1.5 to 1.8 drop.
maximum handling with better than stock comfortness.
im not really worried about durability, because im sure these jdm springs will most likely last until the car dies. I will be seeing more track days in the future. Probably atleast 3 times a year.

anyways, back to my questions. is it true that durabilty, and rust proof is what determines the price, and perfomance are all the same due to the same concept that lower center gravity is what gives you better handling which what all brand name springs offer?
i see some that are 150 dollars and some that are as much as 300. i just cant decide if its worth getting the ones that are 300 dollars when i can get the same perfomance for 150.

For those who are experts on tracks, circuits, autox etc. give me some advice on what to buy.......actually tell me which springs my girlfriend should buy....hehe.

thanks in advance.

I had custom Hypercoil spring son my SE-R and they were very nice. I have never seen any for the Evo though.

Tanabe, Hotchkis, and Tein -- I personally have the Tein S-Techs. I like the new handling but you do have more of a chance of scrapping with that front lower lip drop. I've heard great stories about the Tanabe's and Hotchkis as well.

I've been very happy w/ my WORKS springs but the drop is not as much as you want. Based on your desires I think U should get Espelir GT springs - large drop and very stiff.
