this is the deal i wanna buy a new set of rims for my car i was thinking 18s,the color i have in mind is gun metal with a polish lip, but this is where it gets intersting i want the rear to be wide and the fronts to be normal do you guys think this would look good on electric blue evo if any of you guys have pictures i would appreciated.
its not a RWD car - not a good idea to reverse stagger the widths like that. Some run wider up front than the rear to gain added tire up front, but if you are going to for an aggressive look, better off staggering offset...even then, it is tough as only a limited selection of wheels come in a variety of Evo friendly offsets

offset wont affect the wheel width....only what the spokes look like.
you are not going to find many, if any pictures as people run wider up front.
You can run wider out back if you like (again with an AWD car this is the opposite of what you want to do), but you have to be careful on tire size to keep the center diff happy
also depends what your wheel budget is...wheels that will even come close to allowing this are in the higher priced range

alright so if i ordered volks whatever model, maybe the te37 limited edition ones and had them make the wheel 18 x 9 with a +15 offset would that work. no not with the fenders we have but if i had a fender solution like the voltex kit then they would? also you wouldn't be able to show a picture of the wheel and offset that i just specified?
thanks alot and sorry for the abundance of questions.

will it work? all depends on the widebody kit you get. Your best bet is to ALWAYS buy the kit first, have it fit to the car and then start measuring for your wheel.
What your are talking about doing is not going to be inexpensive..between the body kit, fitting and painting it, and the wheels, it is a very expensive proposition
here are the available sizes for a TE37 BTW - there is nothing made in 18x9 +15 - they do not make custom sizes, though I am sure there is something here that will work regardless of the widebody kit you get

in japan there's two companies that i know of that front stagger their evos, cyberevo and now cusco. they run a half inch wider wheel in front and the same tire all around to allow the rear tire to bulge some so the break away while oversteering is more even.
why oh why would you wanna rear stagger or rear wheel lip yer evo? have you all forgotten why certain things look "cool" and are copied endlessly by stupid broke fan boys across the non racing world? it's cuz at some point they were functional full race all out hardcore racing applications/styles. so why don't ch'all get ahead of the game on this one... do the front staggering... you'll be cool.
